This project was for a homeowner who wished to add a new 1-bedroom and 1-bathroom 450 square foot ADU to their backyard as a means of generating rental income. Standard construction of 4-inch concrete slab on grade foundation, 2x wood framing, and board & batten vertical siding were used.
